The Economic Development and Business Resource Center for the Glades Lake Region

The Enterprise Development for Glades Entrepreneurs (EDGE) Center is a 501 (c)3 non-profit corporation. We are the advocate for economic development in the Glades, stimulating job creation through business start-up, expansion, and retention. As a business incubator, the EDGE Center provides a wide range of business expertise, as well as office space for entrepreneurs to “hatch” new businesses.

EDGE effectively links talent, technology, capital, and know-how in order to leverage entrepreneurial talent and to accelerate the development and growth of new and established companies. Our Partnership Link Program helps to coordinate all necessary business service functions.

EDGE’s expanded menu of services include:

	Registering and certifying businesses to take advantage of various entitlement zone benefits and for professional certifications.
	Providing a link establishing business relationships with a variety of private and governmental agencies
	Working proactively with local governments in their economic development activity
	Working to promote and attract outside business interests to locate in the Glades Lake Region of Palm Beach County.
	Developing and coordinating leading “EDGE” technology/systems that will benefit local business interests.
	Conducting workshops / seminars especially for planning and locating funding resources.
	Development of special programs to benefit the areas economic development, i.e., Youth Entrepreneur Success
	Act as local business liaison to coordinate and smooth path for projects locating to the area.
